Lavender Time

Time to cut down and get drying all the lovely lavender in the garden today. It's been brilliant again this year, and so many butterflies and bees.
Then on to finishing off a few new items, getting the photos done and then listing.
The last of my jewellery going on sale later, never to be repeated!
Busy day, (what with playing taxi cab to an 11yr old too!!!)

12 Cake Stands done and delivered!

There, done it! 30 plates drilled, packed and delivered. Definitely think I've got driller's elbow now and my right bicep is beginning to look worryingly larger than the left, still, needs must.
Picked up a few little lovlies at carbooty yesterday ready for some more pin cushion making, just need to find the right fabric.

Quickest sale ever!!

Wow! Listed a lovely cup and saucer pin cushion, shared it on Facebook page and within half an hour it was sold! Wish it always happened like that.

Sun's out!

Yah! Sun's out, Been sat in the garden sewing diddy owls. Nearly finished then will be putting them on MISI and Folksy.
Picked up the plates on Saturday, 12 cake stands to make! Better charge up the drill.

School's out for Summer! For me anyway, kids will have to wait until next week :-(   Bit of a sad day too as had to say goodbye to some very lovely pre-schoolers who start their big schools in September, (a few tears).

But, then came the good news, got a phone call from a local second-hand/antique shop that found out from a friend that I make tiered cake stands and they want me to make some for them using some of their odd plates! Very excited.
